Tune-up is a leftover term from when our cars had carbs, and they actually had to be "tuned" to keep working well.
Tune-up now just means scheduled maintainance. There's a checklist in your manual, and if you have some tools and some time you have probably do everything yourself. (except for something like alignment, but you probably do that on a different schedule anyway)
If you don't know what all of the maintainance steps refered to in the user manual are (and you plan on working on your car more than just once), pick up the Helms manual - it'll have step-by-step procedures and drawings.
