So V8, if I'm to understand this right we're supposed to be rabidly patriotic because a bunch of people died? So people dying for a cause makes it worth following? Do you know how many people died for Hitler's goals? How about the Crusades? Were either of those right?

Don't get me wrong, 9/11 was a tradegy. But holding on to it only fosters seperatism. Besides all that, 90% of the recent resurgance in "patriotism" is only a facade brought on media hype. Most people just plaster flags all over everything they own and think that makes them "patriots" or somehow they are "standing up for truth and justice" and the other idealistic crap that is vomited from the mouths of politicians.

9/11 was a political move. And a smart one. Don't let it go to your head.
