So...you wanted to "check his ass" for posting what you considered a racially insensitive thread title and then refer to him as a "whiteboy"? Ummm...does that make any sense? I suppose we could've called the thread "whiteboys" and then called you a mexican. Just keep in mind that most people of non-chicano lineage in this country will refer to latinos as mexicans simply because they make up the lion's share of the hispanic community here. Just like most people will refer to asians as japanese or chinese even if their from Laos or Vietnam, etc. They don't do it on purpose...it's just a cultural thing. Hell, I've even caught myself refering to spanish as "speaking mexican" (although technically mexican spanish is unique from castilian (sp?) spanish so that may be technically accurate) . Am I proud of that? No. Should someone like you get pissed at me for it? No. So please ignore the thread title and focus on the substance of said thread.
