$75 - helmet ($140 dollar helmet, close out on ebay)
$20 - gloves (Full leather with steal sliding rivits, used from a friend)
$100 - jacket ($350 leather racing jacket, top of a 2 peice, on close out from www.bertsmegamall.com)
$15 - Legal Rider Program (Free brochure at DMV, $15 bucks for the written test, 2 of waiting hours to take the 10 minute DMV road test, some cones and driving in a circle)
$0 - boots (Haven't bought them yet, expecting to spend $120-$160)
$0 - pants (Haven't bought them yet, expecting to spend $160-$220)
$Free - bike (wrecked a friends bike, got him an extra $1000 on the settlement, he gave me the wrecked bike, and he paid the $500 to get it running again.

I think I'm lucky as sh*t when it comes to riding. I wrecked a friends bike doing 35mph, got really shook up, pulled through and made it out with only some minor back problems, lost no money, came up on a motorcycle, came up on some really good equip at low prices, and all is good for the moment.
