Id have to say a first gen eclipse\talon\laser would be what your looking for. Look for an AWD Turbo, it will be right in your price range.
A stock 240 and the celica GT dont impress me all that much. The 240 is nice with a swap, but swaps can get a little pricey sometimes. It may put you over your
limit.
Or like what was mentioned earlier, get a bike.. Or maybe a older 5.0.
