Well let's see first take you wheels off the car and wash any dirt off of them. Then get some light sand paper and sand up the rims so that the primer and paint will stick to it better. Clean off the wheels again and let dry. You don't have to take the tire off the rim(i didn't). I just got some masking tape and newspaper and covered the tire so overspray wouldn't get on it. Spray on a couple of coats of primer and let dry then two or three coats of spray paint...i used duplicolor on mine. And i left my lugnuts chrome. I use the steelies for racing and they look good.
