I did this last year w/ a cable connection.

I purchased a hub, and some more ethernet cable. Simply split the connection coming out of the modem through the hub to both computers. The only this is, if you want a new IP for the second computer, AT&T charged me $4/month. If you don't care, you should be able to hook it right up.
