in order to obtain a good launch you'll need to practice. Dropping the clutch is the sudden release of the pedal causing it to go into gear quickly, generally results in a heavy jerk, wheel hop and spin, not ver good for the tranny. just practice by first being able to keep enough pressure on the pedal at a standstill to keep it right before the friction point(right where the car moves forward just a little and you notice the rpms drop), then bring up your revs and let the clutch out. do this trying to get max rpms but minimal wheel spin and hop. it'll take practice to find the perfect mix that you'll be happy with.
