Tiptronics aren't all they are made to be. Me and firstgeardude test drove a 97ish lude with tip a while back for like one hour. We took it up to 150 and I even killed a gm car with it (can't remember what it was).
But tip doesn't give you that manual feeling. It's not stick without the clutch as they tell you it is. It's basically auto where you get to choose what gear to start with. Everything else is limited. When they come out with a 5/6 speed without the clutch, then we'll talk.
