no such thing as a JDM B16A2, JDM motors don't have numbers behind them. The B16A2 is only found in 99-00 USDM Civic SI's
JDM B16's are as follows
First Gen B16A - 160 hp, cable tranny, OBD-0
Second Gen B16A - 170 hp, hydraulic tranny, OBD-I
B16B - CTR motor, 185 hp, hydraulic tranny, OBD-II
The B16A2 is an expensive motor, I would go with a B18C1 if you have emissions. If you have emissions, no JDM motor will pass them, but if you don't have emissions, I'd go with a Second Gen B16A considering it has the same hp and a little less torque for $800 less. Also, with a 5th Gen, it is a direct bolt in swap with any B-series motor and you don't need new mounts, the swap should come with the correct ones along with shift linkage, engine, tranny, ECU and wiring harness.
