book smarts does not mean you are a good human being. greed does evil things to a person. just because you look smart on paper dosnt mean that your morals are just when it comes to the lives of people you'll never see, and only have to think of them on paper when you can gane some political support and power.

you see how devistated people where from the 911 attacks. that struck home, everyone of any age that could understand what happened felt sorry. that was only 3000 people. now imagine the magnitude of the WWII nukes and the lives that effected, maybe on paper 350,000 civilian deaths(instant impact+after effects of the radiation) and who knows what other effects where had seemed acceptable compaired to the lives of our military that knew they were putting their lives on the line to protect a country.

death is too serious to play with, im sorry, a lost loved one is too major to be throwing around lightly. special ops teams could have taken out saddam if all else failed, he was not cooperating with the world, but sometimes civil war or war between 2 countries, expecialy in an area that will ALWAYS be at war over holy lands and what not, is good for progress, look how much america grew from a civil war, since everyone is so bent on americanizing the world, maybe we should let them be, like the world did when the "new world" was fighting a few hundred years ago. it is sad to say, but we are doing more harm than good in the mid-east. all these "terrorists" are non country affiliated, but a group of rouge people upset because of the death of their family members and friends. we may think we are doing the right thing by freeing them, but all it takes is a very small group of people to hi-jack a plane and crash it into a building. why give someone another reason to hate us. if we are tehre to support our ally, then lets do that. if we are there to disarm iraq, then lets find some bombs however long it takes. they cannot launch them if they are moving them from bunker to bunker every day, if we are mad about countries mis-treating their people, lets look at countries really doing some damage. we have enough problems at home that our money could be better spent on. with everything we shot the FIRST day, we could have supplied the ENTIRE country with free medicare for a whole year.

there is no way out of this war now, i only wish for the best for our troops and hope that our leaders do not have greed or power as a driving force in this operation(since technicaly it is not a war) at all.

im glad to know you can sleep well at night knowing that in the past our leaders have made decisions to wipe out entire citys, or dump chemicals 3rd world countries

look what we've done with agnet orange, these desisions were made by our highly educated leaders

so where do we put it? in the ocean

good going us again, we left radioactive material in iraq over 10 years ago, and look it is killing the people we are trying to save

http://www.xs4all.nl/~stgvisie/VISIE/iraq.html

we are killing our people also, its just how the media puts a spin on it to make it look ok for us to do it since it was for a "greater good". im sorry death is death, and any way to aviod it is better than putting humans against humans for the reason to fight with deadly weapons. if lives must be lost, lets use our highly trained special force teams to stratigicaly go in and eliminate a threat, since that is what you want right? how about instead of telling soemone to get the f*ck out of your country because tey do not support this war, you get off your ass, and sign up for the military and do something about it. i am doing what i think i should do, and that is not fight. you(not just you, but everyone who is all 100% pro-war) preach how much we should fight and how unpatriotic someone is for not supporting it. well heres a little bit of info for you, im very greatful for my freedom in this country, i value the rights i have, and i like to use them. i do think that what goes on over in the mid-east is bad, and deffinfialy wrong, but are the lives of US and iraqi troops, iraqi civilians, and the later chance of even more terrorist gourps worth a war? their troops are not heartless killing machines with no familys and lives, they are human, just like you.

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."--Hermann Goering, Hitler's designated successor, before being sentenced to death at the Nuremburg trials.

granted hitler was a VERY evil man, but aside from the holocaust he was a great politicion by getting a whole country to support him. he knew the way a majority worked and how to win them over. im glad that here people can speak their mind without being killed like the nazi's would do to those who disagreed...

take it or leave it, but you voice your opinion, i voice mine
