i give a great amount of praise to anyone who is willing to sign up. I can't and wouldn't be able to give the slightest bit of thought of going against what I want to do because someone here is telling me not to or sharing bad experiences. There's not one person who enlisted that didn't know that they die or come home a changed person (physicall and psych). I can't sign up or be drafted due to disability, but I went with a friend to the recruiter and it very much intrigued me. I have 2 friends there now in the 2nd wave of attacks and my uncle's still building helicopters for the marines. With enlistment comes a great risk, but when all is said and done there can be a great reward. Knowing you followed what you wanted to do, all the skills you've learned and personal satisfaction. All of these are things that will take you far in life....follow your heart...don't sign up if you can ever see yourself leaving early...then your wasting a lot of peoples time including yourself though.
