when you "rewired" did you make good connections and insulate it well? I suppose its possible that you blew a fuse, but you may have other probs. check to make sure you dont have a positive wire touching bare chassis. I never work with antenna motors, so that is suspect also.
You could be cheap and just instal a non power antenna. thats what my friend did in his lude and it looks almost better than stock, I think.
