right on..i understand...i really don't get to much into mtv...but i know their are a few punk bands around here and it's anti mtv bands that just made their breakthrough...i saw'em wear the tshirts until the day they came on TRL..then they sold out...don't even wnat to get into that...if you expect a band to not make the money they're able to...you don't have their best interests in heart.
but yeah...i'm just basically hip hop and rap...forgot all bout nas and tupac biggie...thats rap...this ja rule...and some of ludacris...it just gets way to poppy..i like hearing about life issues..kinda end up seein what they've been through, why they are who they are.
Hip hop though.....talib kweli, mos def, common, roots....j5..i can't get it any better....it's just the beat along with the intelligence throughout the messages....but then i have my laid back party/hippie mode....GD and the big wu, rusted root....and depression/sad....DMB, john mayer....i don't know...
