i never liked good charlotte, i liked cheshire cat and some of dude ranch(blink albums) but ever since enema of the state there style twisted and i didnt like it anymore. i almost dont even know what to call my music i like anymore, the word "punk" is now used to describe avril lavine, new found glory, and good charlotte. bands i feel strongly are not punk music. i liked rancid durring their mtv carear when out ... and come the wolves came out, and i love them still today. i said lesser known bands cause if i list off the names, its gonna be either names you've kinda herd something about them maybe once(haha.. that is gonig to be hard to follow) i like skapunk also, i grew up on LTJ playing in my home town for $3 or $4 a show, when losers kings and things we dont understand came out, and pezcore. its not that i hate mtv bands, its just i dont like their style of music, and i dont like there message in the songs. i dont like just "underground" music because its not herd of, i actualy HATE emo. it is guys crying about something... the music has no energy, and no power. i go to emo shows and feel safer in the center of the main floor than i do off in a corner at a hardcore or punk show. im also getting into some hardcore, i love the music, but the voices kinda get repetative to me. if you want me to name bands i like.. you can see not all are "punk" but every one of the bands i feel sings from the heart and has a unique style to them.
