First thing.....I'm hoping you don't like the these less known punkbands because they are less known. Thats one thing I got a problem with and don't understand...how all these hardcore punk fans love good charlotte but wont say a thing when they get on MTV....thats what show business is about...
Secondly, Rap isnt crap....some rap is crap some isn't.....most of ja rule songs are well crap and don't know where they go exactly...i bought the 50 cent cd and there's a lot of good cuts on it...if you actually listen to it and let it paint a picture well he's been through shit you'll never see. Jay Z also has a lot of good songs......Eminem....hate'em if you want...his lyrics are his thoughts...he came into the industry doing somethin noones ever seen before..he sells cause it's catchy adn still poppy where they can get it playin in clubs.
Anywho....i listen to some rap (Jay Z, Bone), Hip Hop (The Roots, Talib Kweli, Aesop Rock, J5 and everyone else), DMB, Rusted Root, The Big Wu, Grateful Dead...String Cheese Incident...all of it
