If there's one thing I've learned from branching out onto other message boards it's that with the right amount of work just about any car can be fast (relative to stock, that is). Stock vs. stock you're probably right. A GSX probably would kick a Civic in the ass. But Civics have some potential for their size and motor availability. And for that matter...GSX's aren't that great if you think about it. Lemme run down to the local Ford dealer and pick up an '03 Cobra or a Mach 1 and we'll see who comes out on top. Now I'm sure you'd whine that such a race isn't fair...but look at the arguement you're making. GSX's are kind of cool cars but they aren't the end-all-be-all car so please, for my sanity's sake, don't knock other cars that have potential.
