Haha, it is. I tried putting a bunch of blankets over the wooden slats and it didnt work out right. I sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor for the time being. Its a nice bed though. It has all these compartments and storage areas under it and a shelf that acts as a step to get up on the bed...its high. I love it.
