If you want to run higher wattage light bulbs I suggest upgrading the harness. That way you won't run the risk of melting your harness and you will be able to put more power to your lights cause of the thicker wire and the harness runs right off the power of the battery.
I would look into getting some HID's, there's nothing better you can do to your headlights. I have them in my Lexus and my Civic and when I drive my Accord I keep checking to see if my lights are on...LOL...I have a hard time seeing.
