i took some pictures of my car today after i looked at it more carefull for the damage. it doesn't seem that bad after all. those who don't know what i'm talking about here is the link:

that headlight comes on only when it wants to. the harness is cracked.
the crack in the bumper. i guess a wings west big mouth bumper cover is in order
view from the engine compartment: only the top crossmember is bent, and can be straightened out easily.
the bumper cover does not flush with the fenders anymore, but only the supports from the bumper reinforcement need to be replaced.
Not that bad afterall when you hit a damn pole at 45mph
