And I also heard that cops can even detect scanners (not jammers just plain scanners). Becuase I was debating about getting one here to use in Canada (just buy in the states...use here) Even though it is illegal, the only thing a cop can do is just destroy it I believe. well i would look into it, because i'm pretty sure they'll be able to charge you. You are breaking the law and i'm sure there's a ticket for breaking the law and you'll also lose the jammer/scanner
