Certain Radar detectors have 360° Total Perimeter Protection
Detects signals wherever they come from. No gaps.. I have the Whistler DE1700 and it has the 360° Protection. It has saved my A$$ pleanty of times.. Especially Highway driving..
Just remember.. If you plan on getting a radar detector. Don't go cheap! You get what you pay for!
