Absolutely.
However for a given amount of muscle tissue there will be a certain max.
Part of it is due to stamina/intensity.
Its also the same for me.
On a flat bench I press 185lbs (I'm 5'9" 165lbs), my buddy who is 5'10" 187lbs also maxes out @ 185 lbs.
Soon I'll adjust the training for mass.
