if you didnt get it in the wrong gear forcing your rpms way above your electronicly controlled redline, you will most likly be fine. remeber, 12500rpms my ignition and fuel is cut from the engine(actualy at 7700rpms is when it really stops) but the speed of the car, and since my clutch can apparently hold that much power it shot my rpms that high. oh, and for those wondering, the retainer bolts are what holds the valves in place, so i had 9 out of my 16 valves kinda flopping around in my head at 100mph

rob, you should be fine, its like bouncing the rev limiter when revving to high, honda sets its rev limiters about 3-400rpms lower than whats safe for the engine, so you cant even get upto the point of valve float and crank walking. also my a/f gauge PINNED rich even at idle where it usualy will hold decetly lean. my friend was driving behind me and said it smelt like i was just dumping gas out. if you can turn your car on and not hear *click* *click**click**click**click**click**click**click** click**click**click**click**click**click* x elevinty billion like you are 1,000,000 miles overdue on a valve adjustment, your valves are more than likely fine.
