if you have the stock internal coil it don't matter what kind of wire or plugs you have. the coil sucks so bad (especially with some miles on it.) that it's the hold up not the plugs or wires.

if you upgrade the coil to an external type. then you might get a little more help from the plugs but nothing significant.
