onsoku coilovers

Has anyone had problems with onsoku coilovers or any of the other coilovers in about the $130-$200 range. i'm looking to lower my car about 1.25''.

why just not get some eibach prokits ? they are a lot better and the ride won't be as crappy

Those are just coilover sleeves. If you don't have great struts, stay away from them. Get springs/struts or true coilovers.

what problems can you get from just using sleeves?

If you're not thinking about upgrading your struts, you'll get blown struts, bouncy ride, etc.

What factors into blown struts? Does it have to do with buying crappy parts, drop, or other factors?

Higher spring rates and the drop. Factory struts aren't meant to perform out of factory spec. You'll need some nice struts like Koni yellows if you want to do things right.

get some shocks and don't get KYB's

What kind of car are you putting this on? http://www.optauto.com has some good deals for a lot of Honda suspension stuff. Cheapest way to go normally is Eibach + Tokico. Both are reliable and reputable.
