Tornado: legit or marketing gig?
Sup peepoz, I'm sure you've seen the Tornado "Air management system" on TV. It looks persuasive. Has anyone had experience or know anyone who have had experiences with it? Does it do what it claims or is it just another one of those marketing gigs? Furthermore, are there any upgrades that improves fuel econ. as well as performance? Thnx in adv.

market scam

i think it's a marketing scam. i really don't know anything about them except they get sucked into your throttle body, and what you "save" on gas pay for the repairs
|
anything that cheap claiming to increase "horsepower" by that much is definatly a scam. whats funny is people are buying this crap. theres an ad for it in JC whitney, its been there since ive gotten the mag.

WACK

In theory they work, to bad they are a POS and the shithead who designed them F'd them up so badly that they decrease power, not increase. They should pay you for using one, not vice versa.
|
From a physics point of view they should dramatically lower your low-end torque while slightly improving top-end horsepower... I'd like to know how they got 10-20% gain in horsepower figures... maybe that was against a stock airbox with a filter clogged with dirt and mud vs. a clean filter and the tornado
