ER-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
 

after growling pains last nite and this morning i finally get my ass to go to ER. i was supecting and appendix problem. i get to the er and when the doctor checks me out he has doubts about my appendix, and i have to do a lot of tests including the CAT scan, blood and urine tests. i wasted 6 hours waiting in the er to find out that the doctors have no clue about the pain and i should get a lot of bed rest, and stop running for a week or so. After i find the results i have to wait with the IV in for another hour till some nurse decides to take it out. sorry about the rants. i wisn i'll never make it to the er again. everytime i went there i was in for at least 4 hours. :o

dang that sucks that you had to wait so long and nothing found out.
I work in the ER at my local hospital and i know that sometimes it can take forever to work up on patient especially an abdominal pain they are the most difficult to figure cause it could be tons of different things.

stefan, hope your feeling better very soon. i know you already know this but...... ohio hospitals are not that great, if it continues please go to pitsburgh. without too much detail and needless worrying you alli am going to say cleveland clinic and area hospitals are not what they claim to be. hugs and i really do hope your feeling better very soon.

i feel better now, but at times i still get lolwer abdominal pains. i got an appointment with my doctor today and see wassup with the pains. thanks for bearing with me :wave:

i went to my doctor today and talked to her about the pains and she made more tests (can't see anymore needles sp??) andshe said i was fine but she thinks that because i had a cold before it might have gone down to the abdomen causing the same pains. :bow:

Always good to see that its nothing serious. I hate going to the doctor :pukey

i hate doctors too. last time i went to ER (4 years ago) i wiated 4 hours to get in and i was run over by a car
