lowering help I need some advise on lowering my civic LX. I still have stock everything except projector lights and a sound system but i think that it sits too high. my friend lowered his 89 corvette for only $10 for materials and it performs awesome. If anyone has any idea how to do something like this without buying springs for a few hundred i would greatly appreciate it. i just spent alot on new fenders, bumpers and paint and now im a little low on cash. |

just save up and do it right. suspension is not someything to mess with. i think you could use some ties but that will prevent the spring from extending. |

Cut springs won't handle well at all (if that's what your friend did). |

You get what you pay for in the long run! Id pick your self up a nice set of lowering springs or coilovers |

Might I suggest some Dropzone coilovers on ebay? I got mine for about 90 dollars, and I can help you with installation also. |
