I am interesting in getting an upper front strut bar, but i need to know do i need an upper rear strut bar or lower rear strut, or a rear lower tie bar???
I guess i am asking what kind of combos can i use.
thanks for your help

okay thank you very much
next question/comment, i want to get DC Sport strut bars, etc. but i have heard that they tend to bend is this true??? If so is are there any recommendations.

Also, i have a CAI does that come into play when getting one since it comes up so high????

i have a short ram intake..it misses it by at least 3 inches....i havent heard anything about DC....that brand is mostly for the "looks" part...i just have a Vibrant strut bar...they all do the same job..if put in correctly..u want to jack your car up to tighten the strut bar properly..

i've heard that the dc bars are bending because they are like a flat band. you need something that's more like a round

You should just get the generic off of ebay unless you really want to spend a hundred bucks on a front sturt bar. Your only buying the name man. I got my nakayama F S B off of ebay for 15 bucks never bent or anything.

the problem with the ebay ones is that they attach to the strut tower, the weakest point.

dont ever get DC strut bars....they bend so easily. You can even bend them with your hands! They look good though. I'd recommend neuspeed.

where is a good place to buy the neuspeed strut bars???

i cant seem to find any except on the neuspeed website.

i LOVE my neuspeed. i could tell a world of difference. it bolts onto the control arm bolts and isnt adjustable so you have to kinda fight it on there, but its rock solid, if i lift up on the bar, it wont bed but actualy move the whole car. you never really feel the difference unless you throw your car into some extreme back and forth twistys with it on and off. that was my biggest difference i found. theres not alot of over steer now also.

the neuspeed unit is great, there are others out there that work very well too but they cost more than the neuspeed one.

i like benen stuff, and mugen stuff......blah blah theres others.

i was reading the sticky post about bars....what's a strut bar with a pivot? I'm a little confused and if anyone can clarify, that would be great. Thanks
