ok ive had my civic for awhile and now and the truth is i can't afford it any more well i could but i want 2 mod it so i have decided to do something eles im going to get rid of the civic for 10 grand, witht his im looking into a older car im thinkin 96 Nissan 240sx but i want to drop a SR20DET and im not sure about Nissan at all so if anyone out there could please and i mean please give me some Nissan sites that could help me with this swap i need to know where i can find one of these engines and and all that other good stuff os please help me thank you

I've been thinking of doing this as well, but keeping my civic.

you cant mod a civic, but you can mod a 240.... :rolleyes:

If you're for real about doing this get a 89-94, so you'll have enough money left over to actually do the swap. That gen is cheaper and lighter.

i ment i can mod my civic but see my payment now is 230 a month i bought it for 13 now im going to sell it for 10 pay off the thing have 9 left getting 7,000 becuase of a accedent i was in and well im getting the nissan paying it off its 6,800 by the way with an extra 1200 im going to save and get that engine and i won't have to make a payment anymore , and dude why do u have to be such a hater geezzeee if u don't have something positive to say just shut you mouth

I want the 96 i like it more the enigne is going to run me 3600 but thats not that bad everything all together will be about 9-10 gs cool

Good don't...because I mean how can you afford the sr20det and the car...but you can't just plain out mod the civic...:crazy:
I say just keep the civic and put a turbo on it....
