86 Chevy 30 Series Van VS. Sweet 95ish Civic
this post is no lie or made up story. it is not to make fun of hondas either.......
my friend drives a big brown rapist 86 chevy van with a 350ci in it.
it's the work van for roofing and is totally filled with crap and tools. coming down main street in monroe we come to the stop light in front of that plaza with dunkin donuts on the right. there is a right turn only lane and a lane to go straight. this 1995 body style civic with hood lights and coffee can exhaust pulls up in the right lane. i have quite a nice view of the dead serious driver revving the engine a little, hinting that he is gonna cut us off and get ahead. the light turns green. my friend floors it cuz he hates hondas with a passion. i watch this late 20's hispanic man shift like he has never shifted before. there is enough room for 2 cars for about 80 feet or so. honda must have figured he would get ahead of the old van. he dropped a car length off the start, which is about 1/2 a van length. i was cracking up. friggin honda couldnt get by an 86 van with 3 people and 1000 lbs. worth of tools and equipment. chris has also beaten 2 other hondas in his swwweeet rapist van. :yes: :zombie:
