the other day I had the best race from a Honda. I even gave him a good chance. My brother was crusin beside me on the road at about 50 mph and he starts to rev at me. Now I know his car well and he knows mine (we trade from time to time.) so I know he needs to be at at least 5000 rpm to get a good run so I wait for him to drop it. Suddenly I hear the scream of a million angry bees so I drop to second not knowing what to expect and floor it. slowly I start to pull. first i look over and see his wheel, look again, headlights. At about 90 I check my mirror, there's those headlights. 120, I check the mirror on the windshield,he is about a foot behind my bumper at 130 he pulls in behind me and we start to slow and I think **** that was close. Needless to say , when we got to my house he had a very sad look on his face and said "I need to get more mods". All I can think is so do I little brother You gave me a heck of a run.

Sounds like a Prelude to me. What mods does he have? H22 engine. That's about as good as he's going to get engine wise.

all he has on his lude are AEM intake and I dont know what kind of exhaust but it is loud. I may post pics some time. It is very nice;) ;)

Ahh well then. He needs more mods. Intake & exhaust will yield some gains, but not much.

I know but so do I, all I have done is remove the air silencer.

Sounds like his lude gave you a good run, what year and model is it? If its the models with vtec your correct they pull best in the higher rpms for obivous reasons.

If he really wants to smoke you tell him to save up for a turbo... mmm turboed lude... mmmmm

sounds like fun. his car will pull hard as hell upto about 135 before it begins to run out of breath.they are very fun cars to drive. does it look like my body or the newer one? my body style is the faster one

It is a 2000. The prettiest red I have ever seen, white 17" wheels and no spoiler, they look sweet without the spoiler

true that that body stlye is the fastest one got to run on the autobaun with one last week.... up to 135 i was about a car behind him after that he started to pull. even in the states i had a hard time keeping up with them...in my integra:yes:
