HSTuners - IRL racing: Ford50forlife vs. SVT Cobra

hehe so once i decide that DMV IS NEVER GOING TO GIVE ME MY LICENSE BACK i decide screw it and i take my car out today. talked to SVT Cobra online and we meet up at a church parking lot right near the infamous 25 connector light, we roll to the light while my boy in his cobra tapes us from a fixed POV, and light turns green i just sit there spinning, BAM hit second started off looked at the stance 4 cars down the road is SVT Cobra :eek: , try to hit 3rd too quick and peg the tach to 6.5K DAMNIT!:no: .. so at about the time it took me to get to 100mph roughly the 1/4 mile he had put 14 cars + between us ;(
so then once i catch up :paranoid: we roll from 60 and he keeps jumping before the beeps and i keep trying to catch up from a car deficit... oh well 2 more losses, then we finally roll from a 3rd beep and he was in high gear so i walked away. after all is said and done we get the other cobra in on the action and i prestage the tires.. (I NEED TO NOW BECAUSE I KEEP FORGETTING I DONT HAVE POSI ANYMORE. DAMN FORDS!) 3rd beep goes, BOOM i launch good.. look over and my boy in the stock cobra is trailing but SVT is right there and a hood ahead, we hit 2nd.... i get a hood, and i miss 3rd and SVT shifted to 5th, i think, so it was called off.. finally we line up and ACTUALLY GET RESULTS.... here goes: 3rd beep i get HELLA traction and svt still barks a car ahead (WTF!):bandit: i slam 2nd and pull even with him, 3rd was a clean hit and i jumped another car, from then on we stayed there until the 135mph shutdown, so after the stock slowbra caught up, we pulled over with flashers and waited for traffic to clear.. lined up and yet again svt jumped a car, 2nd came and i nudged past him 3rd i gain some ground and 4th i pull like a snail against him but gain some more, 5th at 110 he starts yanking some inches back, but im at 3.2k in overdrive and thats expected, he muscles back some more inches and i had a car to 135-140 when we lifted.SVT also lined up with the slowbra from a light and made due 2 cars ahead BUT MY BOY DIDNT TAPE THAT! i wonder why?, but all in all i wouldnt of expected the outcome to be so freaking COOL! anyway just thought id post this, lol, good times!
DAMNIT I NEED MY POSI BACK THATS ALL I HAD IN RACES NOOOOOOOOO!
