you can apply after 4.5 years and it takes like a year to process the citizenship application, then after the interview 2 weeks till you are sworn in

8

DsBlu01CivEX 10-29-2002 05:18 PM

7/12....damn thats still not good....I received a quiz similar to this from one of my professors this semester. I'll have to see if I can find it and post the questions on here.

Edit: well I just looked at the right answers....and had I read the questions carefully I would have gotten a 9/12. GRRR....

blind34_1 10-29-2002 05:56 PM

man I got 5/12. A lot of those answers I used to know, back in high school. Its cause I haven't taken my history and us gov classes at college yet.

What really gets me is the last question could have two answers: are we a democracy or a republic? We're really a hybrid of both...

bx_integra 10-29-2002 05:59 PM

^ yeah i agree with you we are kind of both but they consider themselves a "democracy" or as eminem would say a "democracy of hypocricy"....

accord98lx 10-29-2002 06:25 PM

Son of a Bish!! 11/12 I got the last question wrong...I chosed Democracy..how was I suppose to know it was a republic?

O well..The test was easy for me considering I studied the test to be a US Citizen but found out I couldnt take the naturalization test because Im under 18.

bx_integra 10-29-2002 06:30 PM

yea i heard u gotta be 18...my cuzin couldn't do it till he was 18...He was born in the Dominican Republic...

mt.biker 10-29-2002 06:49 PM

bx_integra 10-29-2002 06:50 PM
