airline ticket help

alright, im trying to get a ticket from MCO to LAX or ONT for as cheap as possible.
does ANYONE have any links to sites with cheap ticket prices? im not using priceline, ive already tried travelocity, bargaintrip, and orbitz.
id PREFER a ticket between november-january for departure, and a return date of 2 weeks after departure.
money is tight so id like to keep it under $250.
if anyone works for an airline and could possibly hook me up, there will be some money in it for you.

id appreciate any help i can get - ive been trying to find a ticket for 2hrs so far (havent tried january yet though) but they are all pretty expensive or go over the 2 week staying period.

thanks.

just for the record though....anyone ever used priceline to purchase a ticket? if so, how did the process go? i just dont like the fact of HAVING to purchase. (not knowing departure info until i get the order and then being BIND to purchase it).

i wanted to try that once for my dad but when he found out he had to use a credit card went nuts. also i tried all the online things:

www.expedia.com
www.cheaptickets.com
www.priceline.com

and the best price that i got was from a romanian lady that sells tickets in cleveland. try using a travel agency. the price my dad got was about 300 cheaper than the above mentioned places.

only stipulation you purchase the wednesday before you wantto fly. i have never used it as i am not spontaneous enough. my freind used them to go to europe though. to each is own.

ok those discount sites are total BS for airline tickets.

You need to go thru a travel agent. Get a quote from every agent around you.. You'll see it's much cheaper this way.

Good luck!
