New guy here... What's up???
 

Hey everyone, just wanted to stop by and say wassup. New guy here who's looking to get a '97 Civic soon as a daily driver. Looking at one right now that looks promising, and has already been hooked up somewhat, so I thought I'd look up a Honda forum, and get used to this whole import idea... lol

As for my pride and joy that I have, it's a 1991 Trans Am GTA, with the SLP Performance Package, and a few extras. Stepping up to a head and cam swap soon that'll put me in at ~400HP. But in 2 years, a new motor will be built as soon as I get all these damn parts together.

Thanks everyone... I'm clueless on imports so I'll be asking LOTS of questions...

You talking about the Civic? Yeah, I know... but I'm more than likely gonna swap in a new engine. I dunno jack about imports, but I have heard a lot of talk about doing engine swaps to the japanese versions on these cars. Just looking for a quick daily driver... not a racer... That's what I have the GTA for... ;)

Plans for the GTA are really getting me excited. We did some simulations on computer with the new engine setup I'll be building with custom port work... I'm expecting at least 550-600HP from that Procharged 383. AND It'll be emissions legal...

Hey, bx_integra, you live in the Bronx? You ever go to the Point or Zerega Ave? Last time I was at Hunt's Point, I was picking up my friend and got slapped with a ticket after the cops raided the street racers there... funny part was I wasn't even racing... stupid cops thought I was because I was in the GTA.

Got the ticket thrown out in court tho... lol

^damn bro...lol...Zerega has been closed off by the cops for quite some time now so i dont even bother passing by there cuz u cant even get in...Hunts Point has been getting locked down by cops for a while now too...last time i went which was about 1 month ago, me and my brother got arrested by(im sorry to say) but 3 really racist white cops...they took my brothers accord to the impound b/c "supposedly" he didnt have any insurance which was bullshit...anyways we got my brothers car back the following monday and all was good once again...but nah hunts point is hard to get into now a days b/c the cops block off every entrance to the point....Right now I've been going to Green Point in queens...pretty hott there and the cops dont mess around with street racers there too much...
