2002 Civic Headlight Mod Help?
 

I want to remove the orange reflector out of the headlamp. First

off what do I need to use and buy to pry the headlamp apart? I

heard that I need a heat gun to pry it apart and silicon to put it

back together. Second thing is how the hell do I remove the

headlamps from the car? Do I need to take off the bumper first

or can I just open the hood and remove the bults and take off

the headlamp? And last but not least how do I get the

headlamps off? I know there are 2 bults on top, but are their

more on the bottom and if so, How do I get to them to remove

them. If someone could please give me step by step instructions

on how to do this mod I would really appreciate it.

theres info on how to do it in the how-to forum; pretty sure. you gotta bake the whole lamp to melt the glue, then a screwdriver and some scraping....bah just check the how-to section.:yes:

Yeha you will need a heat gun & some silicone. You will need to take the bumper off as well.

buy them online....
DIY sounds like it'd be a disaster in this case.

I did mine in 20 mins... DIY is the only way to go everyone thinks I have After market.. it's super simple on the 7th gen...
