2000 civic si or integra type R??

if u could have a choice between a integra type R or a 2000 civic si what would u pick?

I got a problem. I'm in love with civic's so I'd probally go with the 2000 si, if it were a matter of preference. On the speed and performance issue i would have to choose the type r. Its has a much better suspention set up. You also see less type r's on the street so that may also be a reason to get one. There's also the 40 additional horses under the hood. That might be enough to make up my mind.

I think the Teg is hands down a better car. Honda pretty much builds Acura's to be a higher end than thier Honda Counter parts... just like now.. the 03 Si's only have 160hp, while thier RSX counterpart has the 200hp.

As far as body style, they are both good lucking but Tegs are much less common.. and that Is good.

yeah, but its an Si hatch.

Id get the 'Teg. thats what I wanted in the first place but I couldnt afford one, so I got the civic. Still, the 2000 si is a nice car....bah, go with the 'Teg Type R.

this thread is a joke right?

Civic Si cant even be compared to an Integra Type-R. :o

pdiggitydogg 10-25-2002 12:49 AM

well maybe its a integra with lots of those Type R brand parts :D..so its kinda a type R. then theyd be the same.

a96710 10-25-2002 12:50 AM

I'd choose the Type R Integra

Let's see... I'd give it about half a second's thought and take the Type R

slowEJ6 10-25-2002 03:39 AM

oh btw, id choose the R and its got a 45fhp advantage and about a 15ftq advantage. not to mention its equipped with an LSD as well.

ITR > Si

bent_remy 10-25-2002 11:28 AM

Yep, limited slip is no joke.

ChrisCantSkate 10-25-2002 12:23 PM

ITR no question about it. get the jdm front and your car is clean as hell. no more exterior mods needed

cashizslick 10-26-2002 05:07 PM

Type-R hands down
