Just curious as to what you all use for your background on your computer(s)? Here's mine from work. Newly created..;)

Note the Winamp skin as well.....;)

I'm at school right now, when I get home, I clean up a litte (my desktop) and put her up.

Mines just the windows default with the teal screen.. I dont have the luxury of a powerful machine, so I cant load any backgrounds cause my puter will run to slow.. *L*:rolleyes:

what speed processor is it, with how much mem?

I don't use backgrounds or active desktop at home. My computers are more than adequate but I like things streamlined.....

I just formatted my computer, so I don't have anything cool. Like civic_addict, I'm more into performance too, though I have plenty of ram.

LOL, performance..

I dont think a background will do that much damage.
I have a T-Brid 850 with 256. Dont really see anydifference with or without a background.

But active desktop does cost you a lot of mem.

Backgrounds dont make a big difference, unlike Themes and crap.. Im running 350s, with about 190 MB RAM (at work).. But with Virusscan and tons of apps running I cant really afford to waste any memory.. It crashes enough as it is..

Streamline. All about performance. Is there a need for picture? No. So I cut it out..... Reduces the weight of my desktop.;)

yeah sometimes i just get up and hug my monitor.. or lay my head against the screen so i can get a little closer to it!!!

but anytime i go on break and come back.. i have like 4 people at my computer just staring at that car.... i have to shoo people off and away from my computer... hehehehe

The M5s are sedan only aren't they. I don't keep up much on BMWs...

Mine at work has a Boening 767 airplane across it and says delta. Then it has all the icons on the left with a light blue backround.

Put up a pic! Use Shift + Print Screen then paste it in Paint.

Sweet... That means my civic is almost a BMW too.. *LOL* Just a lot slower.. Thats ok though.. Im jealous cause you have a prelude..Thats like a porsche compared to a civic..:o

wow, that is a really nice beemer! Those doors must have cost a ton to install. Looks like they kinda of rotate a little rather than go straight up. nice.
