RPM on a Auto Civic
 

Iv got a Automatic 96 Civic coupe.
What is the max RPM the rev limiter is set too?
Because i want it to rev well past the red, because i know the engine can manage it easy. Is there any way of changing the rev limiter to a high RPM (or will it do nothing for performance because it will be out of the engines power band)

Also another thing. what is the best technique to getting a fast getaway from the lights? hold the car on the Brake?
