imma drop my car but need some advice.
wasup guyz...i have a 2001 accord sedan...im about to get 17" rims wich i kno are kinda small but i was just wondering...will dropping it 1.3" be enuff to look good yet if i go striaght on dips...will i scrape?? just curoius:bow:

1.3" is a small drop. It won't look too low, but it will give you less opportunity to scrape.
|
alrite but will 1.3" look good enough like...will it look decent enuf to kno that its dropped? cuase thers a freakin 4 finger gap rite now between my wheel and fender...so will 1.3" look good enuff thou?:paranoid:

Its hard for me to say what looks good to you. If you like the really slammed look, you won't be happy at all. It will be noticable, but it won't look crazy. I don't know how to explain it. Take a look at your car and measure how much lower a 1.3" drop would make it.

i have a 1.3" drop. one thing to keep in mind is that the car won't drop only 1.3" mine looks ok with a 1.3" drop. i'd say mine is lowered 1.5" as of now

the 17s will prob raise you car a lil bit too, so take that into consideration

and if you are not sure, then get coilovers, so u can drop it more/less if u like.

but coilovers provide a bad ride, i dont want my car boucning up and down like crazy everytime i hit a dip or bump.....

They won't raise your car at all if you keep the correct aspect ratio. |

No, coilover sleeves provide a bad ride. True coilovers will give you a stiff ride, but very performance oriented. |
I have 18s and a 1.5 drop. I don't even scrape. I would go with something lower then 1.3
|
go at least 2 inches

agreed. with a 1.3" drop the car won't look like an suv. it will look more like a normal car. |
