Specs to torque stock wheels.

I just tighten them enough so they wouldnt get loose, but not too much to f*** up the thread.

Yeah, there is a specific number to torque them to if you have a torque wrench, and I was wondering what it is. I'm going to go buy a torque wrench because it is SO much better to use.

There are many applications where a recommended torque is given to best tighten w/o overtightening a bolt. One of those is lugs. I read a story on SRO where a guy was racing, had overtorqued lugs, wrecked his car, and died. That is an extreme case, but you get the point.

I am almost positive that all Honda's require that torque spec. However, I will check.

Anyone have any recommendations on a decent torque wrench for under $100? I know good ones are more expensive, but I really don't want to spend that much right now.

Check at Sears. Craftsman makes excellent tools with lifetime warranties, and good prices.

As far as the TQ specs, I can not find any other specs. So it looks like all Hondas are 80

I know this is off of the subject, but what do you torque the spark plugs to? I'm looking to get a good all purpose wrench, not two with different ranges.

for me it was 13 lbs-ft

over torqueing the lug nuts will warp your rotors because of the pressure on them, that is really tight though.
