Coil Over Rust? i live in an area where i get summer and winter. and i was wondering if coil overs would rust after a few winter seaons. or if theres a cleaning method to perform so they don't rust durning the winter. |

Some people do have problems, but if you keep them clean and lubed up, you should be just fine. |

ditto. But that the fact remains that CO sleeves suck on almost every aspect. |
 ok, thanks guys! |
No prob, what coilovers are you looking at? |
ground control with illumina or agx shocks. |
GC makes some of the better sleeves, but if I were you, I'd look into some true coilovers. |
whats a brand of true coilovers? |
Koni and Eibach make them now I think.... Tein, Tanabe, Apex'i, HKS... |
i thought ground control used eibach springs? so wouldn't that classify them under true coil overs? work with me here, i'm not quite sure what a true coil over is, i should really do my homework on this stuff. also, what company do you think makes the best coilover? |

True coilovers come packaged with an integrated spring/strut combo. These perform by far the best. Sleeves are just springs with an adjuster on them. These will still need to be paired with a separate strut. GC does use Eibach springs, but they are the ERS spring series. |

so those coil overs that are like 1,000 dollars are true coil overs? |
