Took Civic to track sunday

Ran a best of 17.13ET@77.97mph is this a good time for a stock civic?? I had a .668reaction time on that run.

Accord Man 09-04-2002 11:12 PM

what trim and bodystyle??

you probably know that the reaction time has no affect on the ET.

EX stock wheels tires no extra stuff inside. Its the 1.6L SOHC motor.

I agree.. High 16s should be in your reach

Civic 09-05-2002 09:31 PM

16.80 would be nice. What kinda times you think would be capable after my header, exhuast and nitrous(75Hp)Assuming a good pass????

AzCivic 09-05-2002 09:37 PM

My guess would be low 14's.

Civic 09-05-2002 10:02 PM

Low 14s I woulda thought like 15.00 give or take a little. You really think low 14s are possible?

Accord Man 09-05-2002 10:07 PM

around mid-low 14s.. but you better drive well!!

AzCivic 09-06-2002 01:16 AM

A Civic with a gsr engine runs about mid-high 14's, thats with a 100lb increase in weight. And you get about an extra 50hp and 20ftlb's of torque. With the nitrous you're getting about 75 extra hp and close to 100ftlbs of torque, with almost no weight increase. Low 14's should be possible with good traction.
