what he said.. however if the drop is around 1.5, then consider the KYB AGX, less expensive and very good.

i just got some new maxspeed springs, i didn't want coil-overs cause i'm not concerned about adusting them. it dropped about 2"

i was just thinking, won't better shocks help handling but not comfort? i guess i am a little concerned about ride comfort, but I guess i'd rather have the drop, looks hella nice ;) ;) ;) , but I'm getting used to it.

well kyb can be adjusted for both. the problem with kyb is that they are made for stock springs, but they will hold drops up to 1.6". i know quite a few guys that have them and drops of 2-2.25" and they still hold. hopefully i answered your question. ohhh one more thing: did u get the car aligned after the drop ? it might be that crappy because it's out of alignament

rakugaki 09-03-2002 11:11 AM

i just dropped it yesterday, of course i'm getting it aligned :D , yeah, i'm getting that hopefully today, but i still wanna consider getting better shocks. what about tokicos? i keep hearing alot about them?

i don't have any experience with them.they are the cheaper way to go. i opted for AGX'es because of the damping adjustability, and sometimes i find myself carying big loads of stuff in my trunk and that helps tune the car for every conditions.

For a bigger drop like that, look at Koni yellows. They are expensive, but you don't want to skimp on your suspension.
