headlight wiring

I had some Cuzo headlights a while back, but after burning out 2 sets of low-beams i got mad and put in the stockers. I heard that you can upgrade the wiring for the headlights to support the extra wattage. My question is, where can I get the wiring to allow for us of the higher wattage bulbs? I really like the Cuzos cause they are brilliant bluish white and look great with my clear headlights. Anyone know of anywhere other than suvlights.com? Ive heard they take a month or so to ship. Thanks.

I doubt they were burning because of the wire capacity..

what wattage are these? I'm running 95w on eom wires.
on certain other cars (civics), the wires will heat up and kinda burn..

They are 80w for lows and 100w for highs. The highs never burned out, but the passenger side lowbeam burned out twice. I dont know why, and the local car guy that I go to said my wiring could be bad and may not support that much stock... he said similar cars like the Nissan Pathfinder have the same problem then it is fixed with wiring. He said if I get wiring he will give me one more set to try out, so its worth a try. So what about it, know of anywhere?;)

Outta curiosity- how long have you been running them? I ran mine for about 2 months each time before it burned out.

how much were the lights? cause 95% of the "HID look" lights suck and burn out that fast anyways.

They were $40/pair. They actually look very nice and dont appear to be cheaply made: ie. plastic housing is solid, connector snaps firmly, etc...

Almost one year..

Well if he's saying that, he may know something that we dont..

If you're running higher wattage bulbs, its a hella good idea to upgrade the wiring, caus there is a chane that it may catch on fire or something..

So you might as well upgrade.. and get the free bulbs.

And nope, dont know any online places.. sorry.

I've got the PIAA Super Plasmas. Don't remember the wattage off hand. I think it 85/110. Not sure. I've had them for about 3 years. Always on stock wiring.

If I'm not mistaken those bulbs have an output thats equivalent to the output of a lets say 85/95 bulb, but they actually use 55/65.. or something like that.
