anyone out there play halo for xbox? i just got my DSL hooked up and you can play online with gamespy. im always looking for new competition.

I haven't played HALO in a long time.

DUDE!!!Halo kicks total ass...i just bought an xbox like 2-3 weeks ago and got project gotham racing and halo...both are badass games...i'm still looking for more...any suggestions?
well anyway...how do you hook it up to your comp?...after i figure that part out...i'll try and play ya...

oh im almost done on legendary, i just have the library and the maw left. i have my dsl modem (external ethernet connection) hooked to a hub. my computer and xbox are also hooked to the hub. goto www.gamespy.com my user name is prelud3 or get on AIM ChirsCantSkate im getting usta the game again, ive been playing morrow wind alot latly. i'd recommend buying that if you like real time rpg games. its like diablo II but first person, and 1000x more freedom to do what you want. theres no set plot to that game. anyways, halo, find me, i'll play any time!

you played diablo 2?...lol, me too...i played that game for like a year and a half...too much wasted time...**sigh**
ok....i still don't knowe how to hook xbox up to my comp...so i'm probably not gonna try...so morrow wind is good?...can you play that online too?...i like online rpgs...

its not online, but i'll give up sleep a few nights a week to play it. if you have a hub, you can play halo online.

halo? its the BEST first person shooter made. very accurate, great detail and effects.

you can find them for 30ish, but i picked up a nice compact with nice lights and all the other stuff you dont really need for 50. thats a 5 port ethernet hub. you need a ethernet card on your computer for it to work. goto www.gamespy.com they have a thing for how to hook up the stuff.

yep!...it's the onnly one that i like;)

its the larger than the phone cord looking plug in the back of your computer, they make usb->ethernet adapters i think

Yeah I have. Its much more fun than the game itself(if you can imagine that).

Do you have cable or DSL? If you have regular 56k you won't be able to play. HALO will eat every bit of bandwidth you feed it......

if im online, ill definitlay play. i work tonight and im not sure how long. this weekend any time after 11 or 12 EST would be good. i'll play till whenever. for me not online got boring cause everyone i played with got pissed at me for winning. we tried everything to even it up. 3vs1 i'd still win. i dunno. i havnt played alot latly, so your probobly gonna take me the first game

diablo is a 3rd person or overhead view rpg. halo is a first person shooter. very different games.

np. im on dsl and i dont really have lag problems, if i do its the first 3 seconds of the game, then its usualy fine the rest of the game.

tonight after about 12 EST im upto play. maybe earlyer if i get out of work late, then i wont be able to goto the movies. anyone in?
