My car is completely f********

yep. I'm driving down the road yesterday, just minding my own business. When, all h*ll breaks lose. Nasty metal grinding on right side, break pads are completely screwed, and my clutch is chirping like a damn bird. Well, I bring it in today, and yep its gonna cost me about $600 to fix........ They've got to fix the leaking clutch, break pads, and other sh*t. And of course I've only got about $500 to spare right now, so SHIT!!!!!!!

I thought hondas/acuras are RELIABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dude it could be much worse $600 to fix the car isn't bad at all, friend of mine had to dish out $2500 to get his car running again!

Not really....but I don't know what the owner before me did to my car. I've only had it about 12K and the previous owner had it for 38K.....so who knows. All I know is once my new tires are on and all this gets fixed, i'm not taking any chances, I'm not running it anywhere near hard.

They all wear out once in awhile, just not as often as most cars ;)

 springs and shocks

Thank you clutch and brakes!!! Well, it could of been worse, if I hadn't broughten it in today, and let it slide for a week or so, they may of had to replace the rotors and the entire clutch....and that would not of been fun...

toykilla 06-13-2002 09:18 PM

Why dont you just buy a clutch, have them install it and do the brake work your damn self since its damn easy.

Where is the clutch reseviour leaking from?

Sucks about your car, they all have problems sooner or later. Its hard to tell why.

TruHeel142 06-14-2002 08:21 PM

well i got the car back today....the brakes are fine, the clutch is fine, but that weird bird chip sound every time i hit any kinda bump is still there. It happens everytime my car moves up and down.....i'm guessing something needs to be oiled or something, but still everything else's fine now. Any clue on the weird bird chip sounds??? and they are coming from the right front tire area.......suspension???

I have something like that myself. My mechanic claims it's my Stabilizer Link Kit which is like 100 bucks to replace. But he says it's nothing serious at all.

The way you describe it, it sounds alot like mine.
hope this helps
