question

this might be a really stupid question but im not sure of the answer. If i were to put body kit and exhaust on my car, then say a year down the line do an engine and trans swap will i stil be able to use the same body kit and exhaust. Im pretty sure i will i just need to put my fears about this to rest.
Thnx,
like i said, stupid question

Oh but also would there be anything that would be affected by the swap? besides the obvious things.

you could use both... with the swap.

if you swap (depending on the motor) you will lose all your belt driven accessories, such as a/c, powersteering... etc.

Soooo not true...I've seen Civic's with H22 motors in them, still with powersteering...and who really needs a/c...and if you do a swap...might wanna consider some coilovers...but yeah..do a swap...whatcha gotta lose.

you could use the same exhaust but your'll have to have a muffler shop extend the piping cuz there will be a lil gap in ur exhaust system when u do ur motor swap

well you are correct. it can be done. but its very very expensive to get all the other parts working with the swapped engine. most people leave it as is since the swap itself is so expensive.
